2015 Design Space Diva Day is coming!

I love hosting crops where my crafty friends get together and make crafty stuff. But so many don’t live near me any more so I have come up with an alternative..how about an ONLINE CRICUT DESIGN SPACE CROP EVENT ? I provide the inspiration, you provide your own supplies and create along with me from the comfort of your own home. YOU get to see exactly how I put a Cricut Design Space project together and I share my crafty tips along the way too. Now that the holidays are behind us, don’t you deserve a crafty day of fun !
My Cricut Explore followers have kind of nicknamed me a “Design Space Diva” so one thing led to another and I am happy to announce…
The first DESIGN SPACE DIVA DAY is RE-SCHEDULED TO Saturday, FEBRUARY 21 st. Put the date on your calendar now ! Plan to join so you can “create like a Diva” and make 5 different awesome projects using your Cricut Explore machine. Other DESIGN SPACE DIVA DAYS will be scheduled throughout 2015 with different projects. REGISTRATION WILL OPEN SOON with all the details and watch for Project Sneak Peeks too. Sign up for my SMQD Updates at the top of the page so you don’t miss any announcements. Share the news with your other Cricut Explore friends so they can join in too.
Each DESIGN SPACE DIVA DAY will include:
- 5 LIVE online Cricut Design Space Project Classes that include a Design Space File to use for each project to create it. Classes will use a variety of Design Space features and project types and show a variety of crafting skills. I will share my crafting tips along they way and you will see exactly how I put the project together step by step. Note: The 5 Project Classes will be recorded so you can play them back or watch if you can’t attend the actual event
- A DIVA Q&A Session where you can ask me Design Space or crafty questions
- A CHAT WINDOW for you to chat with other attendees through out the event
- PRIZES Events are more fun if there are a few prizes to win !
- SUPPLY LIST A list of all supplies you need to complete the 5 projects
To participate YOU will need a Cricut Explore machine and a basic knowledge of using your Cricut Explore machine. Of course, I have a lot of Cricut Design Space Videos already online and more added weekly so Subscribe to my You Tube Channel @ Debbie ONeal Videos for you to watch to help you get up to speed prior to DESIGN SPACE DIVA DAY.
If you are a new Cricut Explore User, you might want to consider taking Cara Miller’s Criuct U: Foundations Class on January 7 & 8th (click link to see) to help you get up to speed in Design Space as the Design Space Diva Days are about creating projects and not intended to teach you Design Space basic skills.

You know I am passionate about my Cricut Explore. So much so that I started a Lets Learn Cricut Explore Facebook Group (come join us by clicking on the link) that has grown to almost 10,000 people in it ! And now, I am a Cricut Product Expert, working with Cricut to help Beta Test NEW products and features. Its been an exciting 2014 for me and only getting better in 2015.
Meeting so many others who are passionate about Cricut Explore has really re-fueled my desire to teach again. Hi ..my one question before I commit…is there a fee…I didnt see that there was annd (guess I have 2 questions) ..is there a supply list we should have right handy for the event…i dont want to have to hunt things down while this is going on..would prefer it be all ready…is this a podcast??? Tia 😉

Hi Diane – Great questions. Yes there is a fee…its $15 for the entire day of 5 project classes, prizes and more fun. I usually charge $25 to $30 for alive class so this is a real bargain to get all 5 classes for only $15. Yes there will be a supply list to give you plenty of time to prep beforehand. And it will be hosted on a webinar site built to make the experience easy and enjoyable for everyone. I am working on setting up the site..that is the hold up with the holiday today. I hope to get things in place by Monday to open registration and have the supply list ready then too. Would love to have you join in the fun !

yes, the 5 projects will be recorded for future playback 🙂 The event was rescheduled to February 21st due to a family emergency. Registration will open on February 1st. Hope you can attend.

What time will the classes start? Will we be able to access the design space files (always cost money) as part of the $15.00 fee. Or will they be in addition to?

Hi Joyce – Due to a family issue, I had to postpone the Design Space Diva Day until Saturday, February 21st. It will kick off at 10 am CST. Registration will open on February 1st. I will announce on Scrap Me Quick Designs Blog and in the Lets Learn Cricut Explore FB Group. The Design Space Files I provide will be included in the $15 fee. You will open them in Design Space and you save them there so you have access to them at any time. All 5 projects will be recorded as well and available for playback too.
As regarding the images I will use in the files, I am trying to use as many FREE image shapes as possible so you don’t have to purchase any additional images but there may be a couple if you don’t already own those cartridges or subscription to Design Space.
