31 Layouts in 31 Days..Can You Do It ?

So, Wondering What is Layout A Day (LOAD) ?  It is a month long online layout challenge organized by the fabulous Lain Ehmann.  (You may have heard of Lain through her True Scrap online events where she brings together some of the best scrapbook teachers around to host online classes at one event).

I just LOVE the Layout A Day aka LOAD challenge.  It really helps give me that little extra push to get those photos on to a layout and actually using my supplies 🙂  Some of my favorite layouts I ever created were made during a LOAD challenge.  Who wouldn’t love that?

How does LOAD work? Each day you get an email with a video and a prompt suggestion of a layout to do…using whatever supplies and photos you want to use.  Then you create the layout and upload to the LOAD FLICKR group. It’s as easy as that. At the end of the month, you have 30 layout, some new scrappy friends and A BIG OLE SMILE YOUR FACE for getting them done !

How can you participate too?  The next LOAD starts May 1st . I hope you will join me in LOAD513:  “Get a Clue: Investigating the Mysteries of Your Life.”  The theme for this session comes from the famous board game, Clue.  Lain has some fun planned for us as we travel through the month from the conservatory to the library along with Colonel Mustard, Miss Scarlet, and all the rest. We will be treated to all of the fantastic parts of Clue, including daily videos, sample layouts, private message board and gallery, prizes, and more. Doesn’t that sound like fun ?
