Beta Preview of New Print Then Cut Features Coming

 

You may remember I am a Product Expert for Cricut. What does that mean?  Well, I get to help test new features for Cricut Design Space…which I LOVE to do..I am such a techno-nerd !  And I get to review new Cricut products.  But most importantly I get to provide information to YOU, the Cricut Explore Users about all the latest and greatest !  I LOVE doing this for you. For the past few weeks I have been helping Beta Test some new functionality in the Design Space Print Then Cut Feature.  The new functionality is so exciting and today I get to share with YOU just  a taste of what is coming.   Keep in mind you won’t see this functionality in your own Design Space Account just yet….stay tuned here for the latest update on when you can access these new amazing features.

We (Cricut Explore Users) will be getting:

• the ability to apply patterns to images – both shapes and fonts
• the ability to upload custom patterns – digital paper, .jpg’s and more to use as patterns
• the ability to see image information …after you have added it to your virtual mat using the layers attribute panel !
• grid lines set as a default on the virtual mat…yeah, no more having to turn it on each time (you can turn it off too)
• improved basic and vector uploading  that automatically determines file type
• uploaded images showing a preview for both printable and non-printable cut styles
• Slice feature that creates additional layer for overlapping images with color/pattern fill
• Editing of layers without needing to ungroup first
• there is more coming too but can’t discuss just yet….sooooooooo
