Creating with Project Life Type Cards and GIVEAWAY
Most of us have some type of the “project life” cards. Those adorable 3X4 or 4X6 cards with cute sayings or images on them. Even some of the paper manufacturers have a 12X12 sheet of them you can cut down to make your own cards or sell them in packs based on themes. You can even make your own with your die cut machine like the Silhouette Cameo and purchase files from the Silhouette store.
So with all these adorable cards in your stash, what are you doing with them? Some are using them with the Project Life Pocket Pages (you just slip them in the pocket next to your photo and you are done). But what about the rest of us NOT using pocket pages? Good news is YOU CAN GET CREATIVE and use them in other projects.
My good friend and uber talented crafter and teacher, Monica Bradford of ScrapInspired.Com is offering an online class at Big Picture Scrapbooking starting on March 6th all about how to use those adorable cards in a variety of projects. It’s 4 weeks of awesomeness for only $25.00 to use up that stash of cards and get some fun projects made too. And Monica is really, really funny so you will enjoy your time learning too…I am not just saying that cause she is my friend either. Even before we became friends I admired her work and her fun ! You can purchase the class HERE. But hurry, it starts on March 6th which is next week. If you have never taken a class a Big Picture Scrapbooking you are in for a treat…its one of the best online teaching sites around.
But get this…Monica is letting me GIVEAWAY ONE FREE SPOT IN HER CLASS TO ONE OF YOU ! If you would love some inspiration to learn how to use those cards in your own project you need to either take her class or take a chance and enter to win a spot in the class.
ENTER TO WIN: It’s simple, leave a friendly comment on this post. Deadline to enter is Sunday, March 2 at midnight CST. Winner will be announced on Monday, March 3rd so check back here to see if you won. Psst…I would appreciate it if you would also follow my blog if you don’t already do so.
And now for my own “Project Life Type Card” creation to share with you to wet your appetite for the class. I needed to make a baby album recently. I loved these baby themed cards from SNAP and decided they would be perfect for me to make a WATCH ME GROW BABY ALBUM, along with some baby image die cut shapes I was making with my Silhouette.
This type of album is for the new mom to put one photo each month of her new baby the first year so you see the baby growing up as you look through the album. I even included some MONTH STICKERS from Etsy with the album so the mom could put on whatever outfit she wanted to take the photo in each month. She loved it. And I loved how using those Snap cards made it so simple and fun to put together.
Okay, that’s enough goodies to share with your today. DON’T FORGET TO LEAVE A COMMENT ON THIS POST BY SUNDAY, MARCH 2 AT MIDNIGHT CST TO BE ENTERED TO WIN A SEAT IN THE CLASS.
All my comments are my own opinions on those products. I appreciate your support when you purchase using the post links.
