Fabulous Die Cut Tips: Adding More Depth To Cards
Everyone loves to receive a card, don’t they ? Why not give them an extra special card by adding more depth to your die cut cards.
1. Start by selecting a card from your die cuts that has a cut out image on it. Or create one by using a card base and make a negative cut out image using a selected die cut image.
2. Find an embellishment or another smaller die cut that fits within the negative image on the card front.
3. Using a foam pop dot, add to the back of the smaller embellishment and place within the negative space on to the back of the inside of the card.
Here is an example of a card to show you how nicely this adds dimension to a card.
The card itself was made using a card image purchased from the Silhouette Online store and cut with the Cameo. The embellishment for the center is a free print out image from Epiphany Crafts that was cut out and placed on a scalloped punched shape.
So are you ready to add dimension to your next die cut card? Wouldn’t your family and friends be thrilled to receive a more interesting card with the added dimension?
