Cricut Explore Air…oh where have you been all my life…Let me count the ways I LOVE YOU. Read on for your chance to win a Cricut Explore Air !
1. Your Built in Ability To Cut Wirelessly….yes ! No more tangle of cords to connect you to my computer…no wireless adapter to purchase because you were clever enough to come with wireless bluetooth capability already installed. My iPAd loves you too btw since I can use the Cricut Design Space iPad App and send my projects to you directly. And I hear my iPhone will soon be happy with you too ! 2. Your Precision Cutting – My goodness, I don’t know how you manage it but no matter what kind of materials I attempt to create with, you always seem to cut them perfectly, every time. And it’s so easy too with your Smart Set Dial…really takes the guessing out of what setting to use and gets me creating quicker too ! 3. Your Writing & Drawing is Lovely – Shut the front door ! Not only can I use a variety of pens to write and customize my card sentiments and tags …but I can also draw image shapes to create my own backgrounds, coloring pages and more ! And you even will cut them out for me after you write or draw them. I THINK YOU ARE MY NEW BFF ! (My new favorite pens to use in my Cricut Explore Air are the Cricut Variety Pen Set,Black which includes 5 pens in three different points including Calligraphy pens. You can purchase HERE.)
4. Your Printing Then Cut Feature – Oh my, I have NEVER been able to customize and create projects so quickly before using your Print Then Cut Feature. I have created holiday tags, custom gift bag embellishments, name badges, and more. People think they look so professional but thanks to you, all I had to do was hit a button to “flatten” the images, send to my printer and then you cut them out. Sweeeeeeeet !
5. Your Upload Image Capability – Not only can I use all the 50,000+ images in the Cricut Design Space Library with a subscription or purchase individually but I can also upload my own jpgs, pngs and svg’s. You have expanded my design options so much I can hardly decide what to make next because my list is to long !

But the thing I love the most is customizing projects for my friends and family. This week I made this to celebrate a special high school graduates acceptance in to a top University. He was thrilled to see his name and his new college on his gift bag and loved the custom card.

If I won, I would give my “old” ha! ha! Explore to my great niece. She is so crafty and would love it. She actually had purchase while still living at home, a Cricut Expression. She never took it out of the box! Because she didn’t really know what a gem she had! After I bought my first Cricut (an Expression 2) she saw all the cool things I was making and has really developed a desire for the Explore.

I would take this explore up to my school that I teach at to give classes to the other teachers so that they could decorate their classrooms with it. We have a game theme this year and every team is a different game. My team has Clue and I would love for everybody to be able to load some svg’s to get their game pieces cut out for decorations.

If I won this, I would actually keep it and let my 8 year old son use it as though it was his. He has become addicited to my crisut and even at jsut 8, he can do some things better than me! He uses it for all of his school projects and even cuts things out for my scrapbook pages and will help me piece together the multi piece cuts.

I recently partnered with Fort Bend County, TX and SOCA-FBC to bring our veterans the Wagging Warriors Program. We will provide basic obedience classes to our veterans as well as a program to train service dogs chosen from the shelter to assist veterans with PTSD. The first project I would create is bandanas for the dogs and t-shirts for our staff, volunteers, and veterans. We want to show our pride for the program and spread the word!
