New Monthly Scrapbook Club Announcement
Did you know MAY is INTERNATIONAL SCRAPBOOK MONTH ? Yep, it’s a real thing ! People all around the world will be memory keeping by adding their photos and stories to scrapbook pages. What better month than May for me to announce my BRAND NEW SMQD MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK CLUB ! You’ve been begging me to do this for months, so WATCH the video (written details below video if you prefer) then SEE how to JOIN THE CLUB TODAY ! We are kicking if off this month in a BIG WAY !
THE DETAILS:
SMQD MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK CLUB is designed specifically to help Cricut Explore/Design Space Users to consistently create scrapbook pages quickly each month and have fun while doing it. It’s perfect for those just starting out scrapbooking or the experienced scrapbooker who is short on design time.
SMQD MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK CLUB MEMBERS will create (6) 12 X 12 Double Page Layouts. Plus there is an Optional Bonus Project (cards.mini albums, etc) using the remaining kit materials and a few additional listed supplies.
SMQD MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK CLUB is offered FREE to anyone who purchases $25 or more in product from my Close To My Heart Shop prior to the 20th of that month. Club Layouts are designed using specific CTMH products each month to save you the hassle and time selecting appropriate materials. Just purchase the supplies I list for each month club and you are all set to create the same layouts I show. Note: If you prefer, you may purchase whatever supplies $25 or more you wish from my CTMH SHOP and still receive the monthly club layout instructions.
SMQD MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK CLUB meets monthly but does NOT require a subscription. Each month you are automatically enrolled for that month’s club layouts when you make the required purchase in my Close To My Heart Shop by the 20th of the same month. The CTMH supplies are shipped directly to your home from Close To My Heart and you are responsible for paying shipping.
SMQD MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK CLUB MEMBERS will receive an email from me after their qualifying CTMH Supply Purchase with the Monthly Scrapbook Kit information as follows:
- FULL COLOR PDF INSTRUCTIONS with layout photos, supply list and tips to make (6) 12X12 Double Page layouts
- CRICUT DESIGN SPACE CUTTING FILES – just put the corresponding paper on your cutting mat and cut all out all shapes needed to complete layouts Note: Images used will be a mixture of FREE and in Cricut Access Library
- LIVE MONTHLY SCRAPBOOK CLUB ONLINE CLASS INVITATION so you can watch me put the monthly layouts together, answer your questions and just have fun. CLASS WILL BE RECORDED FOR PLAYBACK if you can’t attend the LIVE CLASS. PLUS a DOOR PRIZE will be given to 1 lucky attendee. Live Monthly Class will be held typically during the last week of the month so order your club supplies early so you have them in time to create with me !

Great class idea. Will you have a separate FB page for members? Would buying June and July ahead of time count for our $25 quota for June and July or would we have to still purchase $25 in June and July?

Great question Jamie – I am finalizing the May PDF Instructions today…and hope to email to everyone by end of day Wednesday. IN coming months I will be able to send those out as people make their CTMH purchase. If you have already purchased June and July Kits, those will be sent out by 1st of each month. I may make adjustments this timing as we move forward and see what works best.

I made a purchase last night . do I have to sign up for the class on May 25 or am I signed up now also I have a cricut explore one is this okay? I don’t know how to use, I did make a card lol and a create sign for my machine .

Hi Linda – I will be sending out the May Club Instructions to everyone on Thursday this week. It will include the link to the May 25th Live Class and info on how to attend. Yes you can use the Cricut Explore One… You will receive in the instructions, Design Space Files for each of the layouts…you click on those links and add to your Design Space Account..and then cut out the papers. It’s really easy ! And I will be around if you need any help. Since you already made a card…you have the skills to cut the projects 🙂

HI Susan – Yes if you purchase your supplies for May, June and July the Class (Live and recording) are free. If you place your order now you will have it in time for the May 25th LIVE class. Just be sure and select the Fed Ex Ground Shipping and not the Fed Ex Post shipping which is slightly cheaper but takes 1 week longer. Hope you will join us !

Did anyone else have problems with the Gold Stripe portion of the cutting? I used up all of my second sheet trying to get the strips lined up correctly. Finally had to use a punch for the heart and the stars to get it done.

Debbie, do we need the Happy Times Die Set for the May Bonus Cards project? It’s NOT listed here or in the supply list on this page or in the PDF supply list but does mention it way down the page when giving instructions for what the card project will be. Due to that fact,I did not order the die. Bummer 🙁

I need to space out my ordering and want to have everything to do the scrapbook pages plus the bonus project.

Hi Jamie – This communication form has not been abandoned. I check it a few times a week. In response to your question, the August class will be using the Florence Kit. I am still working on finalizng the supply list for it and will announce it soon.
