Valentine Treat Holders in a Flash !

Love is in the Air…and Valentines Day is next week. You still have time to create something a little special for your loved ones. And today I wanted to share with you some simple treat holders made in a flash to help inspire you to think outside the traditional heart shaped box.

Treat Holder Supplies Needed: Candy Tubes, Washi Tape, tags, ribbon, white signo pen, Silhouette Kiss Sticker Print Out, Sticker Paper and Candy Hershey Kisses

Step 1:  Purchase supplies. I purchased the Candy/Gum Ball Tubes at a local craft store but you can find them online too. They run anywhere from $1.00 to about $1.50 a tube.  Here are a few online sites where I found them and there are lots of other places on Etsy and Ebay that sell them as well.

Shop Sweet Lulu – buy individually

LolaLovesAParty – buy in sets of 10

Step 2: Place a strip of your favorite washi tape along one side of the tube. Since these are for Valentines Day, I used a washi with hearts that was in my stash of washi tapes.

Step 3: Print out the Valentine Kiss Stickers by Amy Robinson   These print out on a 8 1/2 X 11 sticker sheet. Note: I used my home printer and my cameo to do a print n cut but you could print out and cut by hand if you don’t have a Cameo.

Step 4: Add the Valentine Kiss Stickers to the bottom of the Hershey kiss candy. I bought a  pack of the Valentine kisses since they were in pink, red and silver foil but any will do. I also added one of the stickers to the lid of the holder. Add the kisses to candy tubes until it is full.  I had about  pieces in mine.

Step 5: Next, make a tag for your holder. I used some packaged tags I had in my stash but you could cut out one with your die cut machine. I used a white Signo pen to write my message.  And I added a washi tape heart and doodled around it with the pen to replicate a stamp.

Step 6:  Tie the tag around the top of the candy tube. I used some binding tape ribbon to tie mine on.

So forget about that heart shaped box and make a fun candy tube this year instead to wow those you love !
