Day 24: 25 Days of Christmas Projects Inspiration

25 days of Christmas

Welcome to Day 24 of 25 Days of Christmas Project Inspiration:

Washi Tape Tags

Today’s challenge was to use Washi Tape…hmmm, well that’s good cause I have a TON of it !  And I had a bunch of Christmas washi tape so that was perfect.  I decided to whip up a quick tag to put on my hubby’s “special” present (can’t tell you yet cause he reads my website post).

Washi Tape Believe Tag

Super fast and easy to make.

1. Start with a tag shape. Any will do. You can cut out with your die cut machine.

2. Select the washi tape you want to use. I selected a variety of Christmas and red and green washi tape I had in my stash.  Sorry I don’t know which manufacturers since I just keep all my washi in a big pink tub 🙂

3. Tear off strips of washi tape and apply to the tag. Layer the strips as you like. Be sure and rub around the edges.  Tip: I took my tag and put it on my craft mat so it would be easier to peel up afterwards.

4. Carefully peel up your tag and flip it over. Trim the excess washi tape from along the edges. Tip: Use cute holiday scissors if you have them 🙂

5. Add a sentiment and some ribbon and you are all set !  For this tag I will write a note to my sweet hubby on the bag and add to his gift.
