Day 25: 25 Days of Christmas Projects Inspiration
Welcome to Day 25 of 25 Days of Christmas Project Inspiration:
Santa Shadow Box
Well, here we are at Day 25, finally ! I wanted to take a moment and thank everyone for following along as I made a new project each day. I sure hope some of my projects inspired you and even made you smile along the way ! My sincere wish is for each of you to have a wonderful Christmas holiday with your family and friends.
Today’s project is all about Santa…which is great for me since I collect Santas. I have about 200 or so scattered all over my house in each room and then my entire Christmas tree has about 300 Santa ornaments I have collected over the years, many from trips we have taken.
So you can say I have a Santa obsession..or so my hubby teases me ! I figure if you still BELIEVE in Santa the world is a bit brighter, wouldn’t you agree? I particularly like vintage Santas so my project today of course includes one.
This is an 8X8 shadow box frame. I used a piece of patterned paper from Teresa Collin’s Santa’s List collection for the background paper. I used Square 1 Masterpience Permanent Adhesive Backed Fabric for the black Santa sleigh on the paper background and the red on the front of the shadow box. On the bottom of the shadow box I included these glittery accent balls from the craft store.
GIFT GIVING CONTEST
And what would the holidays be without a little GIFT GIVING to go along with it, right? I have some prizes set aside to give out at the end of the 25 Days of Christmas Projects Inspiration posts. Here is how it will work: Leave 1 comment each day about the project posted. For every comment you make over the next 25 Days will give you 1 entry in the Gift Giving Contest. You can earn 10 extra entries if you post a comment each day for the 25 days for a total of 35 entries ! Contest ends December 25th at midnight CST. Winner will be selected using Random.org generator from all entries received and announced on December 30th here on the blog and on my Crafty Cut Ups Facebook group page. This is gorgeous! Did you get my text messaged pix of all the flat round ornaments that I scored at Wal Mart (to copy your earlier post) You are the WORST enabler, because you put your effort into high gear as we’re thinking about Christmas gifts – THE WORST. I am determined to make several of your posted items throughout the year, so I can really WOW them next year! Now I need to go try to find those glitter ball things and watch the prices on those shadow boxes, cause I know Michaels and HL put them on sale all the time! OOOH, would you mind sharing where your purchased the Believe saying on today’s post?
Merry Christmas, Debbie! You are such a blessing to us!
