Happy Father’s Day from your #1 Fan !
It’s time to honor all the men in our lives that are father’s. I love my dad and I guess you would call me a “daddy’s girl”. LOL I had fun making him a special card this year using some CTMH products including a special dad stamp set. I started with the Tri-Fold Shutter Card base I designed using my Cricut Explore. I wanted to add some texture to my card and used patterned paper with plaid, wood grain and used some burlap ribbon and buttons with twine to decorate it. The paper I used is from the CTMH Timberline Paper Pack. It’s hard to find masculine paper and this was perfect for what I had in mind. It’s double side paper so I had enough variety to use on the my card.
On the front of the card I used this stamp that says” My Hero, My Friend” on it. That about sums up my feelings for my dad. The stamp set is from CTMH is retired, it was “Wonderful Friend” D1422.
The inside sentiment of the card says “Dad, You are some kind of wonderful”. Which again, perfectly says what I think of my dad. I LOVE YOU DAD, HAPPY FATHER’S DAY FROM YOUR #1 FAN !!!
It makes me happy that I was able to create a special card for my dad instead of a store bought card. And I know he always loves receiving the items I create by hand for him. Do you make cards for your love ones or buy them?
