NSD – Fun and Die Cutting Too !

As I mentioned in an earlier post, National Scrapbook Day was Saturday, May 4th. I hosted a crop with several of my favorite crafters.  As usual, we had a blast together…crafting, learning and laughing our way through the 12 hour crop day!

Wanted to share some of our fun with you too.

NSD Crop Group 1                                 Group Shots…look at all that stuff we bring !

NSD Crop Group 2

We just had to have a fabulous Make N Take to celebrate NSD, right?

NSD Make N Take

I taught this “Home Sweet Home” Make N Take using a canvas covered chipboard album page, some Heidi Swapp SHINE Glimmer Mist, some stamps and variety of embellishments.  The sentiment was cut on Kraft cardstock using my Cricut and then stamped with the Close To My Heart February Stamp of the Month set.

NSD Make N Take Class

The ladies certainly enjoyed learing something new

And of course, no NSD Crop is complete without an especially yummy dessert !

NSD Crop Dessert I made these delicious Pink Lemondate Cupcakes with Chocolate Filling. And to make them extra super special… there were pink with colored Sparkles for that extra bit of fun !

As you can see, we had A FABULOUS Day !  Hope you enjoyed your NSD as well.

All my comments are my own opinions on those products. I appreciate your support when you purchase using the post links.

I totally forgot that you were doing that! I could have stopped in to say Hi while my daughter was at basketball practice! Looks like we won’t be coming to Houston for 2 weeks to a month, though. She got hurt in practice two weekends ago, and the swelling hasn’t gone down any, so I took her to the orthopedist, who said she has a high ankle sprain and put her in a boot and limited her to upper body workouts and stationary bike. Boo! She’s having pain when she walks as of this morning, so I think crutches are the next step! You KNOW how frustrating that can be!
