Tutorial: Stamping and Inking on Square 1 Masterpiece…cool !
I made a few more things playing around with Square 1 Masterpiece PVC-Free Adhesive Backed products. I wanted to try and stamp on it since you can do that. I love how it turned out. Plus I got to use the repositionable Ink Jet Printable Square 1 product as well so that was fun too !
I decided I wanted to make a card to send a friend but also give it a twist of being able to take advantage of the Repositionable attribute of Square 1 so here is what I came up with…
HELLO Card / Refrigerator Decor Tutorial:
- Cut a piece of clear thin plastic or thicker clear transparency into a 5.5” X 11” strip, fold in half to create a 5.5” card base. Whatever you use, it needs to create a card stable card base to apply the repositionable Square 1 product. Tip: I purchased Grafix Clear Craft Plastic from local craft store. It has a lot of uses and comes in packs of 25. I use it for die cut projects where I need clear window covers such as bags and boxes, etc.
- Cut a 5”x5” square out of Square1 Repositionable (yellow used in sample). Use paper trimmer to cut.
- Use a black Stazon ink and a background stamp of your choice to stamp over the Square1 Repositionable square piece. Set aside to dry a couple of minutes. Tips: Stazon brand ink works best to stamp image on Square 1. Allow to dry briefly before moving to next step of project. I also keep plenty of paper towels and wipes nearby when inking projects for quick clean up.

- Add inked Repositionable square centered on top of the clear transparency card base. Cut a white cardstock square to 5”X5” and adhere to inside back page of the card base so you have a place to write a message and sign your name to the card.

- Select a photo image and size to 3 ¾” X 3 ¾”. Print out on Square1 Printable and trim. I selected a photo of a flower from our garden to print. Tip: Follow the easy instructions in the Printable package to get the best results wint your ink Jet Printer.

- Apply Printable Photo image on top of the Repositionable inked square on card front. Tip: When I trimmed my photo I left a slight white border around my photo image so it would stand out more against the inked patterned background.
- Cut Hello from Red Square 1 Permanent using using any font you prefer. Adhere to the front of the card. Tip: I used a free cut file from SVG Cuts.
- Add a note to inside of your card to let the receiver know they can peel the front image of the card and apply to their refrigerator or other surface such as a smooth wall or cabinet to enjoy !
