Too Cute For Words, really!
I am participating in the Layout A Day Challenge that Lain Ehmann puts on a few times a year. For a fee, you get prompts each day to create a layout, a gallery to show off your layouts, prizes and message board chat area to connect with other people doing the challenge. At the end of the month you should have a layout for each day. So in May…I will have 31 layouts, hopefully ! It is referred to as LOAD (Layout a Day) 513 (May 2013). In this LOAD513 Challenge Lain is using the fun theme of CLUE. You know, that awesome Clue mystery game we played as kids …
With the awesome who done it characters such as
I am so thrilled to be participating this time around because my daughters really loved playing this game when they were growing up on family game night. And we practically wore out zany classic 1985 Clue Movie with Eileen Brennan, Tim Curry and Madeline Kahn…yep, we were CLUE GEEKS at our house !
While I can’t give away the prompt for each day cause this is a fee based challenge, I can share with you some of my layouts throughout the month of May. I plan on using various die cut machines to help embellish my layouts each day so you will see some of them pop up here for your enjoyment too. Sounds like fun, doesn’t it?
My LOAD513 Day 1: (the Mrs. White character in the game inspired the prompt today)
I loved this playful photo of my daughter and granddaughter. To fit the prompt for today, I converted the photo to white and black and put it on a white and black background. The colorful embellishments helped with my playful theme to match the photo. I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the title, the heart and to make the 3d flower on my layout.
Did you ever play the Clue game or watch the movie? Don’t you think this is an amazing idea for a challenge theme? Would you be interested in joining LOAD (Layout A Day Challenge) next time?
All my comments are my own opinions on those products. I appreciate your support when you purchase using the post links.
